Fall Race Privacy Policy

Last Updated: Jul 1, 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to Fall Race, a multiplayer game developed by Nakamoto Games We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information when you use the Fall Race game launcher and services. By playing Fall Race or using our launcher, you agree to the practices described in this policy. We aim to be transparent about our data practices and ensure you have a fun and secure gaming experience.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve Fall Race’s services, as outlined below:

  • Account and Profile Data: When you create or connect a Fall Race account, we collect basic profile details. This includes your in-game nickname and a unique account ID. If you link your Fall Race profile with a Nakamoto Games account (our third-party account login system), we receive an identifier or token confirming that link. For guests, we ask for your age (birth date or age range) to ensure compliance with age restrictions. No other personally identifying details (such as real name or email) are required for account setup.we may offer the option to connect your account using social login services such as Discord or Google. If you choose to log in via these platforms, we may receive limited account information including your profile name, ID, and avatar, subject to your consent and the privacy settings of those platforms. For guest users, we ask for your age (birth date or age range) to ensure compliance with age restrictions. No other personally identifying details (such as real name or email) are required for account setup.
  • Gameplay Data: We record gameplay information to enhance your multiplayer experience. This includes your match history, character selections, scores, rankings, and other performance statistics while playing Fall Race. Collecting this data allows us to provide matchmaking, track progress, and maintain fair competition (e.g., matching you with players of similar skill). All gameplay data is used exclusively to improve game functionality and player experience, and not for marketing purposes.
  • Device and Technical Data: Fall Race’s launcher collects basic device information for compatibility and diagnostics. This may include your device type or model, operating system version, hardware identifiers, and IP address, as well as crash logs or error reports. We use this data to troubleshoot issues, ensure the game runs smoothly on your device, and optimize our services for different hardware. For example, if the game crashes or a feature fails, logs help us identify and fix the problem. This technical information does not include any precise geolocation or sensitive personal data.
  • In-App Purchase Data: Fall Race allows in-app purchases for game items or currency via our payment partner xSolar. When you make a purchase, we record transaction details such as the item purchased, transaction ID, and time/date. Importantly, we do not collect or store your financial account details (e.g. credit card numbers). All payments are processed securely through the xSolar platform (or relevant payment gateway), and no sensitive financial information is stored on our servers. We only receive confirmation that the purchase was completed so we can deliver your in-game content. (For example, xSolar notifies us that you bought an item, and we then credit your game account with that item.)

We do not collect any personal information that is not listed above. In particular, Fall Race does not access your contacts, camera, or microphone, and we do not use any third-party analytics or advertising trackers that collect additional data about you. The information we gather is strictly for running and improving the game and providing the services you expect.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to operate Fall Race, fulfill our services, and ensure a great gaming experience. Specifically, your data is used to:

  • Provide and Maintain the Game: We use account and gameplay data to let you log in, participate in matches, track your progress, and enjoy the game’s features. For example, we use your nickname and ID to identify you in-game, and your match history and stats to match you with suitable opponents and update leaderboards or rankings.
  • Improve and Optimize the Service: Gameplay and device data help us understand how players interact with Fall Race. We analyze this information to balance game mechanics, fix bugs, and improve performance and security. For instance, we might study aggregated match outcomes to adjust character abilities, or review crash logs to patch a glitch. All such analysis is aimed at making the game more fun, stable, and fair for everyone.
  • Account Management and Support: Account data (like your account ID or Nakamoto Gameslink) is used for account management and verification. If you contact us for support, we may use your information and gameplay logs to help troubleshoot problems or respond to your requests. We may also use your age (for guest accounts) to enforce age-appropriate access (see Children’s Privacy below).
  • Communication: We may use your information to send you important service-related communications. For example, we might send in-launcher notifications about game updates, maintenance downtime, changes to this Privacy Policy, or respond to customer support inquiries. (Note: Since we do not collect email addresses for Fall Race accounts, such communications will typically occur through the game launcher or in-game messaging, not via email.) We do not send promotional marketing emails or advertisements.
  • Security and Enforcement: Information is also utilized to keep Fall Race safe and fair. Device identifiers and gameplay data may be used to detect and prevent fraud, cheating, or other activities that violate our terms of service. For example, unusual gameplay patterns or error logs might be reviewed to investigate cheating software or to protect the integrity of the game environment. If necessary, we use data to enforce our Terms (such as banning players who violate rules) and to comply with applicable laws.

We will only use your personal information for the purposes described above and will not use it in ways that are incompatible with those purposes. We do not use your data for any kind of targeted advertising or sell it for marketing; our focus is solely on improving the game service for our players.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We treat your personal information with care and do not share it with third parties except in the limited circumstances described here. Fall Race does not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not disclose your information for third-party marketing or advertising purposes. The situations in which we may share information are:

  • Internal and Service Providers: Your data may be accessible to Nakamoto Games internal team and trusted service providers as needed to operate Fall Race. This includes, for example, our server hosting provider or technical support services that ensure the game runs properly. It also includes integration partners only as necessary for core features – for instance, sharing minimal required data with the Nakamoto Gamesaccount service to link your account, or with xSolar to process a purchase. These partners are bound by confidentiality and are only allowed to use your data for the purposes of providing services to us (and ultimately, to you). We ensure they implement proper data protection measures.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if we are required to do so by law or valid legal process. For example, we might have to comply with a court order, subpoena, or a lawful request by government authorities. We will only provide the data that is necessary to comply with such legal obligations.
  • Protection of Rights and Safety: If necessary, we may share information to enforce our terms of service or protect the rights, property, and safety of Nakamoto Games, our players, or others. For instance, we might share data with law enforcement or relevant parties to investigate and prevent fraud, security breaches, or other harmful activities in the game.
  • Business Transfers: In the unlikely event that Nakamoto Games undergoes a major business transaction (such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets related to Fall Race), user information may be transferred to the new owner as part of that transaction. If this happens, we will ensure the successor honors the commitments made in this Privacy Policy regarding your data.

Outside of the cases above, we will not disclose any personal information to any other company or third party. Notably, since Fall Race does not use third-party analytics or ad networks, we are not sharing your data with advertisers or data brokers. Any data sharing is solely for running the game and supporting your experience, and even then we limit it to what is truly necessary. All our service providers and partners are obligated to keep your data confidential and use it only for the intended purpose.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. In practice, this means:

  • Account Data: We keep your account and profile information while your Fall Race account is active. If you delete your account or it becomes inactive for an extended period, we will remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable time after account closure. Some basic data (like your account ID or transaction logs) may be kept in backups or archives for a short period before deletion, or longer if required for legal/tax reasons.
  • Gameplay Data: Gameplay records (match history, scores, etc.) are generally stored as long as you have an account, so that we can provide ongoing features like match history lookup or player statistics. If you delete your account, we will either delete this gameplay data or disassociate it from you (for example, we might anonymize records in a match history so that remaining players’ records stay intact while your personal link to the data is removed).
  • In-App Purchase Data: Purchase transaction records are retained for accounting and customer service purposes, and to honor purchase deliveries (for example, so we know you bought a certain item). These records are kept as long as needed for those purposes or as required by financial record-keeping laws, typically not more than a few years. Again, this data does not include your payment details, only the fact of the purchase.

Once personal data is no longer needed for the purposes we collected it for, we will either delete it or irreversibly anonymize it so it can no longer be associated with you. If there are any legal requirements to retain certain data for a longer period (for example, to comply with tax, audit, or regulatory obligations), we will store the data in accordance with those requirements and isolate it from routine use.

6. Data Security

We take the security of your personal information very seriously. Nakamoto Games implements industry-standard security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include technical safeguards (such as encryption of data transmissions, secure server infrastructure, and firewalls) and organizational safeguards (limiting access to personal data only to trained staff who need it to operate the game). We also regularly update our systems and review our practices to address new security threats.

However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You share and play at your own risk, but rest assured we are continuously working to protect your data. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and take all required steps to mitigate the issue in accordance with applicable laws.

7. Children’s Privacy

Fall Race is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years old. Our game requires users to meet a minimum age requirement, and our guest access includes an age check: if a guest player indicates they are under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), we will not allow them to proceed with gameplay. This age-gating measure is designed to prevent the collection of data from underage users and to comply with youth privacy protections.

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as soon as possible. For example, if a minor manages to create an account by misrepresenting their age, upon learning of this we will remove or anonymize any personal data associated with that account and disable the account.

Parental Rights: If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately (see Contact Information below). We will promptly take steps to delete the data and, if necessary, terminate the child’s account to prevent any further collection of information. We encourage parents to supervise their children’s gaming activities and to help enforce this Privacy Policy by educating minors to never provide personal information in online games without permission.

(Note: For users between 13 and the age of majority in your region, Fall Race expects that you have permission from a parent or guardian to play. While our primary restriction is under 13, if local law requires parental consent for older minors, we will comply with those requirements.)

8. User Rights and Access

We believe you should have control over your personal data. Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your information. Fall Race provides all users with the following rights:

  • Right to Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. This allows you to understand what data has been collected. Most of your basic profile and gameplay data can be viewed through the game (for example, you can see your nickname, stats, match history, etc., in your profile or game client). If you need a full report of your personal data, you can contact us (see Contact Information), and we will assist you.
  • Right to Rectification (Correction): If any of your information is inaccurate or outdated, you have the right to correct or update it. For instance, if you believe some gameplay record or profile detail is wrong, or if the Nakamoto Games account link information has changed, you can request that we update our records. Some basic profile data (like your nickname) might be editable by you directly in your account settings.
  • Right to Deletion: You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. You can delete your Fall Race account through the account settings or by contacting support. Upon such a request, we will remove or anonymize the personal information we have about you, except for data we are required to keep by law or for legitimate business reasons (as explained in Data Retention). After fulfilling a deletion request, you will no longer be able to access the game with that account, and this action is generally irreversible.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Certain Processing: Since we do not use your data for marketing or share it with third parties (beyond what’s necessary to run the game), there are limited scenarios for opting out. However, if you wish to withdraw consent you have given for any optional data collection or features, you have the right to do so. For example, if in the future we introduce an optional feature that collects additional info, you can choose not to participate. You can also disable data collection technologies like cookies in the launcher (if applicable), though Fall Race currently does not use tracking cookies beyond what’s essential. If you have concerns about any specific data collection, please let us know.

To exercise any of these rights or to inquire about your personal data, please contact us using the information in the Contact section below. We may ask you to verify your identity (to ensure we don’t disclose or delete the wrong person’s data). We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible and in accordance with applicable laws. There is no fee for making such requests in most cases. We are committed to honoring your rights and giving you control over your information.

9. International Data Transfers

Fall Race is a global service, and your information may be transferred to or stored on servers in countries other than your own. In particular, our development team and servers are based in Thailand, and potentially other locations worldwide. This means that your personal data may be transferred to and processed in Thailand or other countries outside of your home jurisdiction. The data protection laws in these countries might differ from the laws of your country, and in some cases may not be as protective.

By using Fall Race, you understand and agree that your information may be transferred internationally, including to Thailand (where Nakamoto Games is located) and any other country where we or our service providers maintain facilities. We will take all necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy during such transfers. This includes implementing appropriate safeguards to protect your personal information, such as using standard contractual data protection clauses or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms when required. We will not transfer your personal data to a third party in another country unless that third party is subject to laws or agreements that ensure an adequate level of data protection.

No matter where we process your data, we will maintain the protections described in this Privacy Policy. If you have questions about international data transfers or require more information about how we protect your data across borders, feel free to contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make any significant changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on our website or game launcher, and/or via a prominent notice within the game. In certain cases, we may also notify you via other contact methods available (for example, a notification through the launcher) if you continue to use the service.

The `Last Updated` date at the top of this Policy indicates when the latest changes were made. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of Fall Race after any update to this Policy will signify your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to a revised policy, you should discontinue use of the game and services.
